By now most of the people are aware about the pollution the humans are causing and its drastic effects on the earth. But now, the advancement of technology and the need for bigger and wider space has forced men to look at their effects and the damage being done to the world. A lot of these products are from recycled materials, those manufactured using less energy or creating less environmental hazards, and those that are made as reusable materials. It follows the “Reuse, Reduce and Recycle” motto of environmentalists. Whether big or small, green products are always helpful in preserving the integrity of the environment.

Green product may be more common than you thought. If you have seen a reusable shopping bag that are now being used for groceries instead of plastic bags, then you’ve seen one of the simplest, yet most effective green products around. Plastic 
bags can tear easily and they are usually thrown in the bin when the groceries are kept, but with the “green” shopping bag, you will have a sturdy bag that you can reuse over and over.

The advancement of technology isn’t all that bad. A lot of it has been dedicated to creating green products that would help
not only the environment, but people and the possible energy crisis we would face in the future as well. One example of technology creating green products is the creation of electric cars. Electric cars don’t use petroleum to power its engine so there none of the car emissions that pollute the environment. Electric cars are still not that perfect, but scientists and engineers are creating new designs to make it work as well as petroleum-fueled cars.
Why should people buy green products?
For those who think more about their finances, buying green products can help save you a lot of money. For example, if you stop buying bottled water and buy a reusable bamboo water container instead, you can save a few hundred bucks in one year. Using a cloth to wipe the table instead of paper towels will also save you some money. Also using green light bulbs and appliances can help you save more on electrical bills. These are just a few examples of how green products can help with your finances.
Of course the main reason that people buy and use green product is to help prevent the destruction of the environment. For now, there is only one planet that has been found to contain life, and that is the earth. If we destroy it, there is nowhere else for mankind to flourish.
